Cameras and Bags

Spectators may take pictures only on practice days: Tuesday – Thursday. Cameras are not allowed during tournament rounds, Friday – Sunday. No backpacks or bags larger than 8x8x8 inches are allowed on course. All items are subject to search. Unauthorized items will be confiscated.

Cell phones

Cell phones are allowed, but must remain on silent at all times. Calls may be placed or received away from play ONLY. No audio or video capture is permitted at any time. No still photography permitted at any time during tournament rounds (Friday – Sunday). Data use (texting, email) permitted except when players are in position to compete (i.e. when marshals' hands are raised).

Silence

Whenever you see a marshal with raised hands you should refrain from making noise or moving.

Prohibited Items

In compliance with Champions Tour guidelines and in consideration of the safety of all participants, volunteers and spectators at the Nature Valley First Tee Open golf tournament, Monterey Peninsula Foundation (MPF) has implemented the following policy:

The following items are specifically prohibited:

• Distracting Devices or noise producing, electronic/compressed air, or any other such device
• Cameras: video or still capabilities, except media as credentialed or authorized by tournament staff (cameras only allowed during practice round days Tues-Thurs)
• Bags, backpacks, food container or cooler or any other carrying device larger than 8”HX8”WX8”D in its filled capacity
• Signs, banners or posters (except autograph), of any size
• Televisions and radios
• Radios capable of transmitting voice or other signals, except for tournament use or need
• Alcohol of any form or container, except on site sales or businesses
• Pets (except service animals)
• Bicycles
• Ladders
• Metal spiked golf shoes
• Weapons of any sort, whether licensed or permitted
• Any item deemed potentially injurious, unlawful or dangerous to staff, volunteers or participants as determined in the sole discretion of the Champions Tour, tournament security personnel or law enforcement officials

Exceptions: Plastic water bottles and food capable of fitting into the 8”X 8” container or pockets are acceptable for entry.

Exceptions to the listed items will be at the discretion of tournament or security personnel and may include items for medical, infant, child or other necessary and immediate care or need of the guest(s), or for the production of the tournament sponsors, media, vendors or contract
